Today has been the most glorious day and so to make the most of this sunshine we went to Rickmansworth Aquadrome, had coffee in the lovely cafe (in the quiet child free room) and then went for a walk along the canal.
Though as you can see I couldn't resist lying in the sun on one of the lock gates - it was fab. There were lots of narrow boats along the canal (the Great Union) and this one in particular took my fancy for two reasons.
One is the gorgeous colour, but the other reason is the very handsome cat that lives on board - his name is Fred and he was very talkative and just wanted a nice head scratch.
Please let the sunshine last as it makes days out so much nicer - with the weekend predicted to be 26 degrees both days we're going to be out and about.
